I've been wanting to add some LED strips where our feet go inside the car. I only want them to turn on when I open the door, meaning I would have to tap in to the dome light's source for power.

Would anyone happen to know where to find the wires that power the dome or any info on this? A wiring diagram maybe? Thanks in advance.

 

I haven't tried it yet but i was looking at some of the wiring behind the fuse block. Use the manual that came with the car it shows you which fuse is for the dome lights. Then tap into the lead that goes back to the lights

you could also tap into the door switch, whichever is closer and easier.
