I have a Pilot Knob with Pilot Boot. Bought at Autozone. A THreaded Knob will work if you drill holes in the sides and custom make an allen. though i am pretty sure you can thread the shift post... it is full metal. like a manual pretty much. And Lancer.... I will make up a How To With some good details on how to do this from start to finish.

The post is only 8mm wide. Threaded shift knobs are generally on a 10mm thread. So that's a no-go without an adapter.

I don't know if I like the idea of hacking into a threaded knob for the custom Allen screw job...

I take it that's a "no" on sending my your stock knob parts?

No problem. I understand. Just figured I'd ask in case you were 2 seconds away from throwing them in the trash.

I posted this on another thread...sorry for the duplicate.
An Aluminum Shift Knob for the CVT Lancer....sharp, but overpriced. Might be a good alternative.

***It's the third item down.
