homemade motor mounts?

Hey, so i have seen instructions on how to make your own motor mounts before (removng the old ones and refilling them) but i can not find it (searched and all).

if anyone knows how or has seen it...post please.

You basically remove them and fill them with weld to make them stronger. I believe.

i have previously seen a thread on here about how to do it using epoxy/resin/ something else possibly...not sure what but not weld that i can think of

so basically taking out the mounts...removing everything in them... and filling them back up using A tube of 3M's window weld should work fine

Actually I believe you're just supposed to fill the gaps and leave everything in them, I could have read wrong though.

i've just filled my front engine mount
so i'll have to wait 24 hours to tell the difference
i think it's worth the 15$ for the eurethan
and you can make more than a car

You only do front and back dude. Everyoen tells me back i hard to get off and just do front, lol

The rear mount is a PITA to get off.

i did the front one it was easy
ill do the rear one this weekend
i also did the one on my friend civic, he's still amase
i didn't took them off his car
for my lancer it gave a nice stiffer ride
