What does bother me about DHL though, is my neighbor had a delivery from them. I see a DHL van pull up, and this ghetto superstar looking guy with a wife beater and a du rag gets out of the truck and delivers the package. What?

At least when I was a UPS driver we had the strictest dress code to follow.

I bet you he had his uniform in the truck cause i know a friend who delivers for them and they do have some sort of uniform to wear. Would be funny to see if that guy got caught by his boss wearing that.

Filter is in, and its the same exact size as the stock one. Fits in with the same orientation also. I guess they just label it differently. Enjoy the cheaper filter. Its still looks real cheap like the one lol But at least its clean now

xaxa np, I'm just glad I actually looked at that filter cuz of this thread. When I pulled it out, 4 or 5 of the creases where already torn and more looked like they were going lol

I second that, ot, but how do they (DHL) stay in business, the are the only company to have deliveries arrive days after schedule, and also delivery times vary wildly.

Thanks again Mark for a great "HOW TO!" Just replaced this filter this morning with the assistants of my daughter. She helped me first remove all the crap out of the glove box, then press the 2 button, and pop off the plastic rod on the right side of the box to release the box fully down. Then you have total access to the filter cannister. Release the 2 quick release tabs, and pull out the filter! My Lancer has 9200 miles on it, and the filter was just nasty! Bugs, leaves, and dirt all throughout the filter! My daughter was pretty sickened by the site of that old filter! LOL Thanks again for the info on the cheaper replacement as well

NP I had to find something cause I wasn't gonna pay $40 to the dealer to get a replacement. I would have just left my filter in. LOL
