Talking Injen CAI

Hi I am new to this forum and I have a lancer gts 5 speed manual. I am wanting to install a injen CAI take .I have looked thought this forum,but have not seen any info on install. So I have 2 Questions. How hard is it to install ? Do have have to pull the front bumper off.

Did you not get instructions with it?

My understanding is that you DO need to remove the bumper.

Sorry I should have mentioned that I have not purchased it yet.But my dealer will supply and install for 525.00 plus taxes .So I was thinking of installing it myself.

way cheaper to do it yourself. its not hard by any stretch but you have to be comfortable removing your bumper.

yes plz dont go to the dealer, if u cant take it apart urself find a mechanic who wont rip u off, then again its not that difficult

Thanks for the info. I also looked at the how to forum on removing the front bumper.Based on that I do belive I will try it my self.
