I'm rebuilding per say an 03 Lancer OZ that was bought salvage recently, with this said the previous owner apperantly had a CAI that he didnt want to part with but didnt leave me any stock parts...
After going to some junk yards and looking for these parts, I have found the plastic tubing that goes to the MAF and the MAF, I cant find ANYONE with a complete air filter box... Does anyone have any ideas where I can find this or a temporary fix. The dealer is charging me 250 for the box and still doesnt have it in stock, for that price I could just go for a CAI altogether A lil help here?
And this is in Houston Texas gotta love this heat...

If you go that route, just remember that it is just the heat shield, intake cone, ring clamp, and a metal adaptor, there is no tubing at all with it.

 

I was hoping for more a cheap fix but this might be the way I'll have to go

Son-of-a...I had mine sitting under my coffee table for a while and finally decided to junk it...DOH. I would have sent it on over to you...
