Sound Deadening
I have seen how to sound deaden the car from seat removal and the trunk. I want to know how I would attack the firewall? I want to sound deaden the engine bay from the inside of the car. How would i go about doing this? thank you!
I've looked into this also and find that the biggest problem areas (in order) are the doors, floor, then roof. If you have a really loud motor then the firewall and hood liner would be next. Trunk would be the last problem area.
if you want to reach the firewall from the inside, you're going to have to take apart the whole dash, which imo, is too much work, esp if you dont' know what you're doing. it'd probably be best to get a heat resistant sound deadener and lay that on top of a regular deadener from inside the engine bay where you have easier access.

Hey, thanks for replying. Have you sound deaden your own car already?
Can you give me a list of supplies I should get, or you would get to complete this project? How much would it run?
I want to sound deaden every part of my car. From under the hood to the floors, roof, trunk, doors. I hope I'm not missing any.
I'm sorry if I sound lazy
