Question Projector cut off

I got some projectors for my DD ES... light output is a lot better than stock, and uses an H7 instead of H1/H3 bulb. However the cutoff needs to be modded. At 50ft the left side of the cutoff is about 4-6 feet lower than the right side, and the shield seems to be a little low in the housing... what do you all think?

Picture at ~15ft or so.

By the way, sorry for the bad pic, I only had my FinePix on me at the time... 1/80th; F3.6; ISO200; W/B Auto

What do you mean about the cutoff? I need to know more about this since I plan on getting projectors for my car soon.
Thanks

The cutoff is the line of light and darkness. The shield in my projectors just seems off, like it's low inside the housing and "scattering" light.

Is there anyway to adjust that?

I have a set of HIDs... in fact these lights I got are able to accept H7 or D2S bulbs. I've tried both and get the same results basically... I just want to adjust the shields before I put in the HIDs.

Open the lights, take out shield, cut, CNC, grind, etc a new shield.

Maybe you can bake the headlights, take them apart, and try to adjust them that way

I finally cracked open the headlights. Made and put in a modded ztail shield, and took the last 4 days adjusting them. Now I have a super sharp and very colorful cutoff. I also put in a slit in the bottom of the shield to make a "skylight" to light up the overhead signs. All in all I would say the output it much better then my IX with the HIDs. (I did all my adjusting with a D2S bulb in because I got much better results). I also readjusted the aim on the projector to the high beam, DEPO used rubber spacers that I just replaced with 10x .5mm washers.

Now I just have to wait for some warmer weather... way too cold outside to be taking the bumper off again. Plus I'm going to wait for when a friend of mine makes my rally style light bar.
