I have a question that ive been pondering for awhile now. What Models of lancer are in interchangable for interior parts? Are they all the same ? they look all the same just difference in colors but hard telling with mitsubishi.

I was thinkn about getting used evo seats for my es. I know you might think thats a waste of money but i work in a parts department so i can get them for cheap.

Has anyone one else successfully done this kind of swap( dash pieces,door panels, seats)

would the steering wheel from a ralliart fit and es? I hate the es steering wheel its starting to flake off at the 12 oclock.

If anyone can give me a definit answer it would be much appreciated

most of the interior pieces are interchangable. the steering wheel is interchangable too. the evo seats should fit as well.

 

Yea +1 most interior parts should be interchangable. I was also thinking about evo seats.

 

front seats from the evo will fit, the back ones need some modification

 

I can't think of anything interior-wise that won't fit.

 

The only thing that will not fit is the rear seats, but they will with a little bit of modification to it

 

hey thanks guys ive called the local mitsu dealers and they had no idea at all. I was figuring that they were all interchangable but def wasnt sure on the steering wheel or front seats.

I also noticed the nice rear seat installation guide on the other section which was a big help.

 

I put 05 MR rear seats in my 04 ES. There is a write up in the how to section. Its just bending brackets on the seats. If you have fold down seats, you'll have to unbolt the brackets attached to the card. Not hard at all. Everything is 100 percent interchangeable.

 

I got the evo 8 steering wheel in my 05 OZ. The ralliart wheel is nice though

 

what about like gauge pods, i was looking for a gauge pod for my 03 oz rally, and couldn't find any, but was wondering if parts for an evo would work.

 

i know this thread is a little old but, what about the evo dash? will it fit into an 02 lancer es?
