02 Lancer OZ HID Install Without Projectors (Cedia Blackout Headlight Assembly)

Does anyone know if it is possible to put only HID bulbs/kit into a normal 2002 Lancer OZ housing without any kind of additional rewiring or harnesses? Im looking to buy an HID kit for my OZ but i heard that some kits require special harnesses....Im a little confused. Please post links for a good HID plug and play kit if possible.

Yes I have an 5k HID kit in my 03 ES with my stock headlight housing. I bought a cheap cheap ebay one complete with lights and ballasts for $70 I love them have had them in for about a year now with no issues, all I had to do was plug my ballasts into my stock plugs that did go to my old bulbs and then the ballasts get plugged into the new HID bulbs and that was all the harder mine was. The longest part was figuring out where to mount the ballasts at.

10000 K is a good blue color. And your lucky 03lances. I went through 3 ebay kits. Ballasts kept burning out. Next kit I buy will be 30,000K. I miss my 12,000k so much. They were awesome. Word on finding a mounting spot. Was hardest part. Oh, and OP, make sure you get one thats hi/lo beam cause alot of them arent. Although you kinda really dont have a reason to have hi beams with an HID kit. Other than to let people know you dont have your brights on when they flash you cause it happens alot with the HIDs.

Has anyone put HIDs in the Lancer Cedia headlights? The information I was given from the guy I bought the headlights from, plus information on the forum said that they take H1 low beams - I tried and tried last night and for the life of me, could not get the bulbs to fit at all. The 9005 hi beams fit perfectly. Also, I couldn't get the turn signals to fit either

If anyone can offer any help/advice/suggestions, it would be greatly appreciated

i have a set of projector headlamps that i got here, and i have 10000K running for my low beams. as for the stock housing, should not be an issue. it runs off the wiring/harness in the car, the bulbs should fit in the original housings as well

if you want a nice set of bulbs check out the wagner true view lamps. they offer nice true white light but without the glare from an HID to the on coming driver.
