Sohc dohc
Sohc dohc
I've been doing some reading about the differences between single over head cams, and dual overhead cams.
Is it possible, or be of any benefit to replace the SOHC in my Lancer to a DOHC.
Like i said, is it possible, and if it is would it be of some benefit.

It can be done for a bit of money and little effert.
It has potental for higher top end, more so for turbo cars.
However since you've been researching the differences between SOHC vs. DOHC, you must know that DOHC is slower on takeoff as it's more weight on the motor.
For me it's really a matter of what I want to build my car for.
And I stay under 100 and live for the take-off so I'll stay SOHC.
For more info use the search tab, there have been writeups of how to do it ect.
