lancer frame pushed in?

So i was underneath my car about to do a undercoat. I was under the driver side and i noticed that the driver side frame rail is pushed in. I never did anything that would cause this so it must of came from the dealer like this. I wanna make a appointment to get this resolved and fixed under my warranty but am worried that the dealer will try to blame me by saying the vehicle was not jacked up properly when i never once jakced it up Any suggestions will be much appreciated.

I kno its hard to see in detail, but the passenger side isnt pushed up like that. And my buddy has a lancer and i checked his out and his is also not like that. I kno it hard to see but the sides of the rail are also slight buldging out as if something hit the rail causing it to get dented and the sides to flare out.

well whatever it is im pretty sure your SOL, take it to the dealership expecting them to fix it under warranty and the service guy will probably burst out laughing in your face.

if it looks like something hit the rail causing it to get dented then thats road hazard and not covered under warranty.

Well how would they be able to prove that it was a road hazard and didnt happen during transpotation of the car or something like that? I mean unless they can somehow prove it i thought it would be under warranty. And this is not just wear and tear. So i dont see how they can get outta fixing it under warranty.

can you prove it was something that was involved with transportation of the vehicle ? Do you know the steps that are involved in transporting a 2011 Mitsubishi Lancer ?

Didnt think so, the way they will get out of fixing it under warranty is by simply telling you no.

There is nothing mechanically wrong with your car, the "bent frame" isnt causing drive-ability issues or any issues other than you get a face when your under your car.
