New to the site, and vehicles and I'm craving to learn more. I recently purchased a 2004 Lancer ES and I love it. I am interested in installing a subwoofer under my seat and am wondering if its even possible. Where there be enough room and if so does anybody have a guide for a newbie?

Short answer, dont do it. You would need a custom box and at best you would get an 8in but that would be luck.

If you want to not give up much space do what i did.. and put in a false floor and toss the spare tire. I have only needed AAA once since I bought the car in 02.

 

Thanks for the feedback, got any guides on how to install a false floor? It may be basic but still I'm a newbie. Plus I'd like to make it look as nice as possible.
