?????Parasitic Drain on 02 Lancer OZ.

I just got this car, and it runs and drives fantastic. Problem is, it's deader than a doornail every morning. I thought "must be the aftermarket stereo, so I'll just unhook it until I can look at it". Nope. So, for kicks and giggles, I pulled the stereo fuse/dome light fuse ( little yellow block w/ two fuses in it). Nope. Still dead. So bright side- I can still listen to music. I then started pulling fuses while measuring the draw, which was .79 Amps or 79 mA, whichever you prefer. Still nothing. I am thinking there is either a draw coming from the alternator or a short in the main harness. The alternator tested "good" when I had it benched the other day. Any ideas, anyone?

my 02 es was doing something similar, at times it would take a while while cranking to turn on, thought it was the battery so i replaced it, it kept doing this until my alternator went and left me stranded at 1 AM...i swapped the alternator and viola, presto no more problems waking up with a near dead battery

I had the alternator bench tested, and it was fine. BUT, after talking to few different people, I think that the voltage regulator may be sucking the life from the battery. And that problem wont show up when its being tested. Problem is I need two people to test this theory. But thanks do much for the advice.
