2009 Lancer GTS battery drain help!

I need a little guidance on where to look next for my parasitic draw. I have put a multimeter to the battery reading 12.4 volts. Tested the alternator reading a little over 14 volts. So i know both are good. When the key is off its pulling .30 Amps. I started pulling fuses under the hood and found the IOD fuse was drawing all the power. I next went into the car and started pulling under the steering column and found the Radio fuse is drawing the power. Now im at a dead end and need to know which direction i should go. My vehicle does have a stock amp and I did pull that fuse and the draw stayed the same. Also my radio is stock. A fully charged battery only lasts me about 6 months until it runs into constant starting issues

How fast does your battery drain so that it is a no start condition? How old is your battery? Voltage is not always a good indication of a good battery. It may not have the capacity anymore. .3A is pretty normal for these vehicles. What is an IOD?

A fully charged battery only lasts 6 months and then it won't start? Sounds like the battery is junk.

So 6 months of a new battery, and it starts no problem, then after 6 months it just dies one day?

I have 2 batteries. One less than 2 years old and one less than 1 year old. I have tested these batteries and they both tested good.

The IOD is ignition off draw.

What I was getting at about the 6 months is that I don't seem to have any issues with the batteries for months, then all of a sudden I will have reoccurring starting problems.

Did you load test the batteries? How many amps is your alternator putting out at full load?

If you can completely rule out the starting and charging system. Then, when the constant starting/draining battery issue is happening, you need to find the draw. What is the brand of the batteries?

The normal draw is maybe 30 mA - so a .3 amp (300Ma) is quite a bit.

Now start disconnecting each component on the radio circuit one by one..... You will need a diagram (check the audio forum for links or just do a search).

My bluetooth was scorching hot too. Because of this fantastic thread I am no longer running an extension cord out of my apartment complex every morning to charge the battery!!
