Question Tail Light Tinting and Exhaust Questions

Hey guys first post and new to the forum. My dad just got me a 2002 Mitsubishi Lancer ES for about 2800. All stock. I was wondering if anyone has tried with success , Plasti Diping the tail lights of the car or did you use the VHT Nightshades spray. I want it to have a nice finish and not look too matte. Also, what method did you use if you did. Or would I rather be better off taking the car to a shop to tint them.

My second question is, I went to Autozone today to replace the speakers in the back of the car and I saw they sell Exhaust tips and muffler. I was wondering if I were to buy a muffler or exhaust tip would it change the sound of the car or would I have to buy a whole new exhaust system?

Thank you guys in advance and I look forward to reading the feedback.

I can't help with the tinting part but I can tell you that a tip will not change your exhaust tone you need some sort of aftermarket exhaust components weather it's a muffler, headers, etc. and I wouldn't recommend straight piping because you don't have a turbo in your car so you need some sort of back pressure. Prob better off just getting a cheap cat back. Hope it helped

If You Want Black Housing Tails, U Gotta Take The Lights Apart. If You Want Them Semi Smoked/Tinted Then Use Spray On Taillight tinting

Alright. I saw a couple of mufflers at AutoZone, if I got one of those it would just need to be installed or would I need to change the pipe as well?
