100% Pure Gasoline?

Has anyone tried it in our cars? There's a station down by my house that has started selling it and they say it gives better mileage. I seen some dude filling up his WRX with it and was wondering if it would do the 4G94 any good? Also, is filling up with a higher octane than 87 worth it in our cars? Just wondering...

Thanks

Wtf is pure gasoline? I know there are quite a few additives but thats what makes it gasoline... At your elevation a lancer wont benefit much any from higher octane...

No ethanol added. Most all regular gas in my area (I don't know about the rest of the US) has 10% ethanol added.

Thats a bad thing? Idk about your area... But in illinois its cheaper for the ethanol mix... By 10-20cents in some places... And youre right it does lower gas mileage but its nothing good or bad for your car... Some areas either dont need blended or dont have access to it so clearly it cant hurt... Seasonally we switch from blended to non for emissions reason here in el paso...

It's called conventional gas, it will give higher mileage but probably nothing noticeable. I used it as long as I could here cause for a while it was cheaper. When the ethanol is blended at the truck racks, the chemical reaction is really destructive, it makes a chalky phosphorus coating that clogs the rack strainers and coats the pipes.
Also the blended gas base product is only 83 octane for regular and 89 for premium (ethanol makes up the rest). Makes me wonder what happens if it's allowed to sit long enough to separate or evaporate. North East coast was forced into it a few years ago.
By the way your gas is also mixed with butane and all gas stations get it from the same terminal and tank, just different bull**** additives as its blown into the truck. I try to explain to my friends that the Citgo and the Mobil are both from the same place. And the drivers check for water before they load into the ground tanks.

I got off topic, Realistically not much difference to use either type

And the premium isn't going to benefit your Lancer. You could probably tune it for it, but wouldn't see gains worth the money spent

Top tier gas is... Top tier gas.. All from the same pipe, just different additives. Ethanol content will be posted for the obvious.

Not true, conventional gas is made at the normal octane points. RFG is a lower octane base and ethanol brings it up to the rating you get at the pump

US federal regulations ethanol at US gas stations, so there is no ethanol free gas; furthermore, gasoline is by its own nature a derivative if petroleum that contains other biochemical. Ethanols as a fuel is stupid! Complete scam.

Any ethanol content must be posted for the obvious. If they use ethanol to boost the RFG "base", it will be posted. So that it still correct and very true.
