Struts??
Struts??
I'm looking to change out the struts in my 2002 Lancer ES soon.
Is that something I should be able to do on my own? I have moderate experience working on cars, I learned a lot from my dad who was a mechanic for... ever.... but I don't know how difficult this job is to do on my own.

You will need a spring compressor kit, you can rent one for free at Advance Auto (you pay $50 and then get it back when you are done).
The biggest thing you will need is a good impact wrench, without it you wont be able to get the nut off the top of the strut holding it together.

It's super easy with an impact gun like esugen said. Aside from that it's revoke the wheels and then the 2 bolts on the steering knuckle and the 3 top bolts you access from the engine bay.
