I have a Mitsubishi Lancer 1.5 MT year 2011. I want to install cruise control. The Cruise control switch, brake and clutch stop is all i need and what Ive searched is that I have to enable it through the ECU. I have remove the cruise control cap, and found the blue pin in the steering wheel with wires.

So I want to know if cruise control will work in my car.

You need an ECU from 1.6 ASX, it will work, but you need MUT 3 to reprogram it to your car, or get the full immobilizer set with the ECU

I'm also interested in installing control cruise on a Mitsu Lancer '09.

Could you be more specific in what is necessary to install CC ? I do have, the clutch + stop switch and soon will have the steering wheel buttons.

I'm following a tutorial i found on web, and Mitsu Lancer ES 09 does have the options on the ECU. Once does options are activated, it should a problem of installing everything.
There's also a pdf containing schematics supposedly from 2007-2010 Mitsu Lancer, but is not complete. It's missing somethings like connectors location, which is very important.

Would appreciate some help.

 

Should notice, that the only thing missing is the connection from the switches (clutch and stop) to Auto-Control Cruise ECU. Commands are from button on steering wheel.

Have fully connected everything regarding to control cruise.
However with the current Engine ECU 1860B170, i can't activate the control cruise. yes both the option for control cruise is activated (or present).
Meanwhile i managed to get another ECU 1860A976 and tried on my vehicule. It manages to activate control cruise, but this ECU is for 1.8 petrol and up. So can't use on my car, as it can't start the engine.
Does anyone know what to do next with teh Engine ECU in order to put control cruise to work ?
