i am confused though.. the pics he posted are off an upgrade he did to the front brakes.. and the posts seem to go back and forth about the rear brakes..

who is he? and the reason it goes back and forth about rear brakes, is because the OP has info about front AND rear. and apparently N1te has tried the rear conversion and could not get it to work correctly.

No, they say it's needed if u upgrade rear to disk AND front to larger brakes.

WOW GUYS!

N1te said the front brakes from the DSM/GVR4 are no go on the ES. Also in the same thread it refers to RPW numerous times for a rear brake swap. N1te never said anything about the rear swap not working on the ES. In fact i would imagine it would be just fine. Its the Front swap that causes the mush pedal feel if you do not have the MC in the rage. Not the rears.

How do I know? I have a Mirage equip'ed with both. I have EvoIII/DSM calipers and GVR4 rotors up front and CJ4A rear 260mm brakes along with a 3kgt VR4 MC.

Now the question that I have regarding the MC swap on the ES is can you use an Evo MC rather than a 3kgt MC? Has anybody tried that?

Could you not just bore out the stock lancer maste cylinder to 1 inch or so? would this not work?
