What do you need to know about the TB swap?
Tools:
12mm deep socket for TB bolts
8mm socket for TPS screw/bolts (recommend socket b/c screw portion strips easy)
Pliers will help for removing retaining rings on coolant hoses
PB Blaster for removing hoses as they may be stuck on
Scan tool or multimeter for calibrating TPS
Process:
Get a 1g Not Turbo throttle body. That way you don't need an elbow.
Remove negative battery terminal from battery
Unplug your tps by taking the U shaped clip off and pulling the harness off the sensor.
Remove the 3 vaccum hoses from the tb
Unbolt the 4 throttle body bolts.
Remove the throttle cable from the TB
Unclip the coolant hoses and run the two coming off the motor together to return the coolant to the motor
Get a piece of coolant hose the same size and attach to both ends of the tb to bypass the tb.
Get a 2g DSM TPS and attach to the 1g DSM tb.
Get a 1g DSM Gasket
Clean both the IM and the 1g DSM tb so the gasket gets a good seal.
replace the stock tb with the 1g DSM tb and bolt 4 tb bolts
connect 3 vaccum hoses to respective nipples on the 1g tb
Connect TPS harness. Place U shaped clip on TPS to hold harness.
reconnect negetive battery cable to terminal to battery
Calibrate TPS with scan tool
Let car idle so ECU can learn settings again. Go drive

I think 97-99 are solid.
99+ are hydrolic.
That's why it wasnt a direct bolt on.

I sold the mirage 272 cam and valvetrain. I couldnt stand the shaking of the car . it was always shaking it never staid still , that cam profile is way too agressive for street use specially a new car. installed the stock back on and will go on with the turbo seup. still getting the parts, maybe I'll get a microtech stand alone so I can fine tune the car so there wouldnt be any regreats with the turbo setup
