My 2000 GLX Lancer engine was damaged due to the Timing Belt breaking and I had to replace the engine... the maintenance shop in the Philippines replaced the engine with a 4G15 16V DOHC - the engine is running perfect after 1 1/2 years... This is my problem - I don't know the car model or year of the engine .. I know this sounds stupid but it's difficult to buy parts such as the Distributor Cap or Rotor without knowing what the year or model is. The part # on the distributor cap is T-730 - The engine # is 4G15SW0244

 

I have the same engine. Try going to Banawe and look for Carline, Coltline and Best Colt with the part. They might have it.
