Yea, that's a totally different price range than what I was looking at. I was looking at the $150-300 range. The Focal's cost about $280.

But I'm willing to bet that the Focal's in the $500 range will be better than the Type-X's.

i got MBQuart in my car.. sound awesome and JL subs in the back.. The speakers sound sick tho and i got them for 400..

MBQuart are probably the best components I've heard hands down. But you definately pay the price for them.

Yea, I'm not a fan of Kenwood either but this one has been growing on me. If you are a big audiophile than this is a great head unit. It has a million controls for the sound. I just got Sirius, so that is my new toy to play around with.
