I didn't have an adapter to make the 6.75" speakers fit (they were too big to work with the 6.5" adapters that came with the previous speakers.) Basically, the 6.75" speakers were big enough to sit on top of the hole, but not big enough to reach the screw holes, which is why I used zip ties and foam (to prevent rattles.) At some point I'll go back and make a proper adapter out of 1/4" plywood, but at the moment, I don't really care that much.

The stock amp should only have two wires going to the sub, should be easy to figure out.

you only use a line out converter if you are trying to put an aftermarket amp in. a line out converter will just convert the signal and let you use RCA's for an aftermarket amp. you can just use the pos. and neg. wire that plug into your factory sub. you can take those and hook them up to the aftermarket sub, but the power and ohm load will be wrong and it won't sound that great...

that is just a dash kit that comes with a hvac relocation kit. its an expensive kit though and hard to find. usually runs about $300. the radio can range anythere from $600 to $1400
