Replacing the S&S package on the 06 RA

After 6 years my stock sub is blown and both back speakers are blown. I'm not an audio mods enthusiast, I just want stock quality back. I read Otter's sticky and seeing that our speaker sizes are weird and there will be fitment issues I'm looking to buy again OEM parts for the S&S package. I do have some questions though.

As anyone bought the S&S sub again?
I found online the sub for $142.18 but theres and option to buy left or right sub . IIRC they are all on the right side. Anyway they sell the woofer separately so i can get sub "speaker" for $81.81 and assemble it on the box that the car brought. Also, would infiniti sell a woofer that would fit the box and connect?

Do amps get damaged, etc.?
I'm clueless on this. As I said I'm not a fan of audio systems and I know nothing

Rear speakers from the infiniti package are $75.68 each. Reasonable?

One thing though...browsing through the audio parts (OEM) the POS radio deck is listed at $918. rofl?

I replaced all of my factory speakers with an older version of the Pioneer TS-D1702R.
They screwed right in, no modification required and have been thumping along beautifully ever since September 2008.

Browse through the for sale sections here for both lancers and evo's for used stock subs...I've seen a few kicking around.

There should be lots of aftermarket options for speakers, and with them being the rears you won't have the depth issue like the fronts. Most would be plug and play, the most you would have to do is change the connectors.

Another option for the sub is just search for a shallow 8" aftermarket one...I had an aftermarket 8" in mine, was deeper so I made a 1" trim ring to extend it... Then I modified the box to fit a 10". Then I scrapped it all together to fit my rear strut bar...lol

Good luck
