In my opinion, digital is not worth it, analog you get a nice little knob to change the brightness, and a switch for blue or green... you'll turn it blue because the green looks like ****.

Oh, be careful after you've installed with the inverter and want to change the color, even while grounded, putting your hand on the back of it sends a few volts through you, mmmm like peeing on a wire

i don't think its worth it. its just one more part that'll prob. go out and you'll have to replace. the knob is good. the only plus i see is if you got a bunch of different color choices with the digital one.

I had a digital inventor which stuck underneath the steering wheel column. It had four buttons, for lowering/increasing brightness and switching to blue/green.

ever seen that show "mythbusters"? they tested that myth about being electrocuted if you peed on an electrified wire, & since pee kinda starts breaking off into little drops by the time it hits the ground (no continuous stream of pee), the electricity cant reach you.
