Question WRC Evo Headlight vs. Lancer OZ Headlight

I was looking at the WRC evo.. I'm not sure if it is the Evo VII or VIII. But doesn't it look like those headlights would fit the regular Lancer from '01 to '03? I included pictures of a comparison from my headlight to the WRC evo's. I looked everywhere trying to find those headlights because I want a pair!! They look like projectors to me and I have always wanted projector headlights on my car. If anyone knows where to find them please let me know. I already searched the forums, ebay, and most of google. Possibly a JDM part only available in japan.. or maybe made especially for the WRC evo?

I don't have a pic of the back end of this car. I wish I did.. but to me it looks like the same body as the 02-03 lancer. Same headlights.. same headlight spacing between the grill. I want those headlights though!! =D

seems like the same body, look at the front bumper and hood. also, the grill attaches to the hood the same way pre-04's do (you can see small lines where the seam is)

That would be nice if those where made for the USDM Lancer. However if the just made for the WRC EVO, good luck on getting a hold of a set. If you do, I bet they are going cost a small fortune.

A) That is not an Evolution. Starting in 2004, uses a Lancer as the base for the WRC car.

B) Should fit.

C) Should be impossible to find, as they're custom just for

grrr... I thought something about it didn't look like an evo. heh. Yea it probably will be impossible to find those. But I'm gonna be looking everywhere in the mean time. There is still hope that an aftermarket company will make something similar. I hope.

The lights you will never be able to get unless you take them off that car.

It is a regular 02-03 Lancer. It is so nice watching WRC and just hearing them call it a Lancer and not an Evo.

Ofcourse the only same thing of it is the body (which is changed also). But engine, suspension, and everything is totally different.

Wasn't cerious performance working on making that grill? Maybe they could make the lights too, they'd have a complete monopoly on the market.
