Question about taillight bulb.......

hey whats up
my passenger side taillight is out. when you turn the lights on its off but when you hit the brakes they light up perfectly. so im guessing its to separate bulbs. which one do i need to get to replace and what kind cuz i have no idea.

mybe its a fuse?!?!i have the some problem with my driver side brake light....light comes on wen turn them on but dont come on when i hit the brakes....but i havent cheack the fuses yet...or is it a fuse???can some one help me too...if it is a fuse can some one tell what one it could be, i just dont feel like lookin right now...

THose bulbs are double filament bulbs I believe. Just one of them went out. Just get a new bulb.

I had this same problem I would check the fuses under the dash and hood first. if that doesnt solve the problem then replace the bulb.

Happens all the time to me.. especially because of my subs. It has always been just a filament broke, at least for me. Get the long life replacement bulbs.. or if you don't want to ever worry again about replacing the bulbs, get LED replacement lights. ************************* Thats what I'm doing now, whenever I get a light that burns out, I just replace it with a nice set of LED's. They look brighter to me, and have a faster response time.
