I am having custom carbon fiber a-pillers made. The drivers side will have two guage pods, and the passenger side will be normal but in carbon fiber.. the guy told me once he makes the mold for mine it will be easy to make a bunch more.. i dont know how much they will cost yet.. let me know if you are interested so i can maybe give the guy a large order and he will lower the price..

your only going to do the 2 a-pillars in c/f?? that won't look right because your going to have to do the b and c pillars also for symmetry or it will jus look stupid.

aight coo... im goin to talk to the guy again tomorrow.. for now.. im going to have the mold made just for the a-pillars.. but as soon as i get some more money ill have it made for the b and c.. and once i have the mold it will be cheap and easy to have as many as i need made.. ill let ya'll know the price as soon as i find out..

hmm.. mirrors sounds cool.. i dunno bout them just yet though.. i gotta get some money for the molds for the pillars first.. but once i get all the molds made it'll be cheap and easy to do.. but if anyone has any other suggestions for cf products let me know..this guy i know says he'll do anything.. im actually thinking of getting some stuff done in carbon kevlar.. cuz it looks cooler.. and its stronger

 

yes.. the b and c pillars are the middle and back ones...

calvin thought about CF mirrors too, when he started his projects, and i think he opted against it because of the decreased durability... so i suggested fiberglass mirrors with a LAYER of carbon fiber around it (it's the look we're going for anyway, right?)... this way you'd have durability and the dope CF look. give it a thought, and run it by your producer if you think it'd fly... i know i do.

and ps. i'm down for the whole alphabet of pillars. just throw us some prices when they're available.
