You can set any turbo car up to Vent To Atmosphere. It has to do with the BOV, not the particular engine. However, Mitsubishis don't particularly like it, so expect sputtering, rich conditions and perhaps stalling.

I know this thread is quite old, but did the original poster ever dyno the lancer with the evo engine? I kept up with this for a while but it went way away from the original topic

Tell me what, why do people who have actually done the swap fade out of earthly existence?

1) ashamed of the actual cost
2) sold the car
3) scared of the email bombing from tons of strangers
4) all of the above
5) WTH

Any time anyone does anything big they disappear. Can't explain it. And most people that do a custom kit, they take forever to finish it, then sell the car. It has always happened with lancers and will keep happening. Who knows why.

I kidda believe it's the minitrucker syndrome, never satisfied or flawed bad enough to sour their ride.

I can understand miragers w/ Evo swap . . . they don't want to get email bombed on the similar Q for the next few months.
