if i'm not mistaken wasn't he trying to swap in an eclipse 6 bolt 4g63t at first?? i'm almost sure it was...anyway, props to you bro.
i'm not sure about the lancers but with the mirages they bolt right up and i've heard that the 1.5 trannies are beefy! i believe a 4th gen mirage is running an evo2 motor with his mirage 1.5 tranny right now and hasn't had a problem with it.

also, if you buy that front clip you'd make a killing selling off the stock parts that you wont be able to use...like the steering wheel [you can use it but it has no bag or atleast you can see its been deployed]. The gauges alone would get you a good amount of cash. The whole dash...and that digital climate control! you'd score big bucks with that rare junk...and the VIN plate would sell too if you can find a way to tap it out.

if you swap over to manual you can use a manual lancers pedal set and it will work fine but if you go auto tranny than i would suggest just beefing up your stock trans with a tq converter

a torque converter (a good one) is almost half the price of that engine isnt it? maight as well get the engine, although its going to cost more to install. oh they have an evo V front clip too.

yeah thats the site i saw but i dont see anything about the lancer, so i'm guessing it goes with all the other mitsus. and the lowest priced torque converter is a little over a grand
