Wow, that's freakin awesome man, congrats. Don't sell it, keep it. Now that the car has the go, now it's time for the show! Than get some sponsers and get some magazie/web time... you could be starting a trend that only hondas (b/k series engines) and nissan (sr20 engine) cars have.

 

dforeals tho ... i would keep that sucker for a while make it show some more and then when it gets built up with more exposure then you could sell it for even more than its worth right now

i want to continue and make it show but there is no kit out there that actually makes me say wow. i want to get a wide body kit and dont know what color to paint it i was think white but no to sure but i cant do that becasue i got no money

 

quick question how do you go around looking for sponcers do you just go to all the major brands and ask them to sponsor you how does it work

 

They come to you, if you go to a bunch of shows, win trophies, basically get your name out there eventually a sponsor will notice and it goes from there.

 

so have u dont a rear disc conversation yet?? if so who did u do it with??

he said in the 1st post 280HP....but im guessing hes jus going by evo spec...his car is gonna give CRAZY torque steer

 

yeah he was estimationg the 280. and for sponsors, if you find one that makes a lot of products you could use, you can contact them and talk to them about a sponsorship. and with the engine swap, theres a bigger chance it will interest them. give it a shot, the worst that could happen is they say no (or maybe they could laugh and make fun of you), but puting that much work into your car makes you look better to sponsors.

anyone got any opinions on how to dress it up for show

should i get a wide body kit
should i get cf bumper/fenders/side/rear/hood.trunk
should i make it a rally car
should i change the evo 8 spoiler for a 6.5 tme spoiler
should i take out the back seats and put in a roll cage
what color should i paint it ????

here are a few suggestions i got from friends what are your opinions all are welcome

 

Evo IX body kit without a spoiler with HID lights and some nice rims. That's a perfect combo for my taste. I wouldn't overkill this car with some rollcage or super rally mods.

But that's my taste. Keep it nice and clean and enjoy it.

 

no evo 9. way over rated and sad to say, RRMs 9 kit didnt come out so well. and you really don't need a kit for show. you can keep it subtle so its a sleeper, but maybe the RA lips to look a little lower and aggressive. deffinately get it lowered, but not with just springs, get shocks too from RRM. then some racing (yet still clean looking) wheels, 17" and maybe 45% tires to fill the wheel well more. It doesnt take much to make a show car, a little shine on the outside, pop the hood, get some color on the inside. just my .02
