ive got a yellow lancer and i thinking about painting the chrome part of my grille black, and goin over the mitsu emblem in yellow. what do u guys think? and does anybody have any pics of this? ive never actually seen anybody use those colors. thanks

 

black grille yes yellow emblem no. just my opinion. i actually went the other way. when i got my jdm grille i decided to chrome out the stock grille for the hell of it. it needs a couple more coats but it looks pretty good. its free when you buy my friggin evo vii spoiler. ps its the high quality one from makoto auto trends.

i think balck on the yellow looks too much like a bumble bee...what i am planning when i get some extra cash is to simply make the chrome part of my grill all yellow to match the rest of the car...i have seen it on some Cedia's and it looks pretty sharp

 

Yeah, I got a t-gray lancer, and I used a rustoleoum metallic black, and, while it's not a colormatch, it plays well off the t-gray. Just masked off the triad, painted. I need to do some more touch ups on it, but, otherwise...
