Front bumper and lower grill removal

I want to take out the three lower grill pieces and paint them. Are they removable, and after taking them out , can they be put back in? I have a black and blue color scheme going and think it would look pretty bad *** when done.

Krylon Fusion paint is pretty good and will bond to the plastic very well..........

So, let me know if anybody has any experience with this......

thanx

take it from experience....since i didnt do it this way....take off the front bumper...i did the left side grill long time ago, since it was easier to get to, since i have CAI! but if i were you take off the front bumper....to get to the screws easier. It took me almost 2 ridiculous hours to get just 2 small room screws out (since i didnt take off bumper). Shall be easy if you did! plus i F'd it up (heh)! oh plus my hands hurt from tryin to get it out...and right now they still sting!

very possible to remove the 2 side ones under the headlights. i did and it took me a while kus i didnt take the front bumper off. i put mesh in there and used the stock screws. it took me a while kus i was on my back and it was hard manuvering the screwdriver under such tight spaces. but its impossible to remove the stock black mesh in the middle without taking the bumper, which i still have yet to do. and btw, the 'mesh' pieces under the headlights arent really 'mesh' like the one in the middle. it looks like it but its all...enclosed? theres no openings...youll see what im talking about when you get up under there.

yea take off the bumper, you will see that each one of those black plastic is being held on by 2 screw. i think you should just get mesh to replace them..

don't need to take the bumper off man, just take off the lower splash guards and then the screws are right there. i did this when i installed my cai. i took out the little grill so that i could put my hand through the hole to hold the intake tube while the other hand bolted it to the bracket. much easier then removing the bumper, and faster too.

not the sides..the middle long grill is hard to get to unless you got small hands and\or screwdriver

Yeah, the sides are a snap if you've got ramps to get the car a bit up in the air. I'm working on the middle one now. It is a pain to get your hands in there, and you need a right angle screw driver. All I can find are two screws on the middle grill. One on each side? Is that what everybody's found? Then it kinda snaps out? Well I'll do it today..
