Air Suspension Installed

Hey guys....i finally got off my lazy *** and installed my air suspension...the back at least.

I need to get the lowering brackets so i can slam it more so right now its a little high. 6" of travel.

The front should be here in 2 weeks...there was some company problems and crap like that.

only that low

if that is as low as it gets it is time to raise the shock towers pull them out and cut in half find the right size pipe and thicknes add about , well that depends on the clcyinder strock and what type of range of travle you whant I would add 2.5 to 3madye even 4 to put the car on the ground. I have coil overs on my es and my car is lower thant that . all in all props on the mode .

i dunno about the world of air bags and that but i think it will look dope when you adjust things and have it on the ground with the bags deflated and then ride height when you inflate the bags. Lookin forward to some more pics when you get the fronts installed!

Can I get details on your setup?

since every goddam body kit gets destroyed in quebec, having an air suspension might be useful to go over bumps or get into parkings.

I saw kits for like 1800$US only the hardware, no installation...

right now its just:

two 3" air cylindars with brackets for the Lancer
3 gallon air tank
3/4 hp 100% duty cycle compressor
8 SMC valves
playstation controller to control the valves
a bunch of 3/8" air line
lots of wires.....

thats about it..the front i'm getting air struts.

better ways

that will work if i read you right the u bolts you speak of lowers the bottom shock mounting point . If I am understanding what is going on with this u bolt you will loose ground clearens and scrap that thing on the ground . Put up some pics of the clyinder set up .I am not in to air bag or hydros but would still like to see the set up just to know .
