Finally Got Rims! pics in 3rd page)

It was some sort of discrimination lawsuit, and i sent in a letter saying i was discriminated against. a few months later ....i just got a check for $1500. Now my dad has been a hard *** on me about my car, so he said i could get rims. Finally...finally...but i'm going to get 16". Not 17'. long story, but yeah. 16 is better than steelies! Also, my trip to canada will be paid for, and it's a great feeling. I think i'll go to church on sunday. this is awesome! So be looking around xmas for Chris to finally have some WHEELS

Congrats. Rota's definitely not a bad way to go. Cheap, light, and plenty of knock-off styles.

in that case...i am extremely pleased with your means of getting the money. i think they can afford a little bit more than that though. the jacket my girlfriend wanted for x-mas last year was from that store...$195 for a simple winter coat....i don't think so. hehe

which rims you getting? post pics off of an online store.

I'm going to buy these KTP 123 series 16" wheels from > www.treadepot.com. Someone on this site recommended that website, and i like the price. Even though i have $1500. I still need about $620 of it for Canada. but here are the wheels (there are others out there called Sport Max, and stuff, that offer a black gloss color, which would be great..but i'd rather the wheels and tires together ya know?) These are $559 Free Shipping (mounted, balanced and everything).

what's the weight? ..i was planning on 16's next year. the only thing that made me even consider 17's was the Wilwood big brake kits need a 17' or larger.

those look similar to the rims on the 05 lancers but a bit nicer and larger. good choice.

Wilwood will fit over 16's according to RMR and Wilwood when I bought mine (years back). I don't know if that goes for ALL 16's though.

Hey Chris, congrats man.
I dunno anything about those Rims so they might be great for all I know. I'm getting some Rota Torques which are pretty light weight, and only 625 shipped in 17s so probibly pretty close to the price of those. Might be worth a look if ur trying to save money.
