Hot New Products in play for regular Lancer!!

Great news all!

I spoke with Jay at altezzalighting.com last night. We talked a bit about businesses and he was telling me how he had problems from overseas shipments as well, yada yada yada. They are in the process of making carbon fiber evolution hoods! The only thing they need is someone willing to part with their hood for a couple of weeks, so they can make the mold, and then send your hood back to you. When the finished product is complete, you will receive a FREE carbon fiber evolution hood. The hood has to be metal, not the fiberglass representations.

Furthermore, they are also in the process of making "3-d Lights". They will have a 3-d retro look, and make a direct replacement of our taillights. These have a variety of options and combinations, so not every single person will have the same exact thing. Which is good because it just won't be just 1 uniform style like Altezzas. The frame could be painted to match your car color, etc. Those are expected to hit the market probably in a little over a month, and altezzalighting will be the only manufacturer of those styles.

I also got lucky and was explaining how my car looks to them, and what I have spent. He seemed amazed and wants me to send him a few pictures of my car so he can give me sponsorships over in the West since it is hard on the East Coast. I think he named numerous high scale companies that would be interested in sponsoring. So woot woot for me, if you want to donate your hood, pm me saying you would be interested, and like I said, you'll get your hood back and a free carbon fiber one. Hope some of this was kind of neat to hear about, but if not, then oh well! Take care all!

Still looking for someone with an evo hood(non fiberglass or plastic), to part with it for a month or so to make the mold for the carbon fiber evo hood. A free carbon fiber hood is the reward for the guinea pig

Okay, I am getting PMs with a lot of confusion, I am sorry. The process will go like this:

Someone willing to part with their EVO HOOD(not an OZ/ES/LS Hood) sends their hood to the company.

They will make the mold for the new hood which will be carbon fiber with the hood they get sent to them

When the mold is finished, the evo hood gets shipped back to the person who donated it to them.

When the carbon fiber hood is complete, the person who donated it to them gets a free one

The carbon fiber evo hoods produced will be a direct replacment for the OZ/LS/ES Lancers.

I hope this is more clear, pm me for more details. Sorry again for the misunderstanding.

Here's a question for ya, Zapco. Are they just gonna make another carbon copy of the hood that gets sent in or will they add the extra vent on the side of the intake?

Cuz what I'm thinking is that someone sends in their Apex hood, and that mold gets modified to make the Evo 7 hood a lot of people want.

The Apex hood is not a true evolution hood. They need the true evolution hood with the 3 total vent count in order to make an exact replica of the evo hood in carbon fiber. So to answer your question, yes, this hood they produce will have the 3rd vent for the intake, as if it were a true evolution hood.

yep... I really don't think there is a direct replacement evo style hood.

the evo styles that are out there require the light conversion.

yeah to have a true evoVII hood you also have to do a bumper and headlight conversion... Hmmmm....you'll prolly need an apex hood and cut the 3rd vent in it to make an evoVII style looking hood.

the chances of getting a REAL evo 7 hood are pretty slim i would think. why dont they just make an OEM carbon fiber hood? and the light thing sounds great

because there are already cf oem hoods out there?

because the evo hood actually helps proformance?

that woudl be 2 good reasons why they don't make an oem cf one.
