Will a vortex generator fit on a 05ES i was thinkin about getting one and just wanted to know if the fitment would be ok. If if does i am going to keep it black to match the black trim on my car. I have already photochoped it on my car and it looks great and seen other lancers and evos in white with a black VG and they look great.
Just let me know if they work.

Yes it will fit, but will look funny imo unless you have a spoiler on your ES.

 

I disagree. I have one on my ES which is wingless and it looks great.

but I do like the VG's, you'll just have to get an evo high wing to make it look right to me...

 

please just stay out of these threads if you don't like an idea.


anyways, 3M double sided tape and a day over 70 degrees did it for me. And ThunderRacer, The Evo high wing might come in the future for me. I don't know tho yet.

 

i am ordering the evo8 wing when i can afford it. plus what it will cost to get installed and painted will take a while because of money is being used towards wedding, as u can see i have 62days till the big day.

Back on subject dont the EVO RS have the VG? I dont know but i have seen some in my town with it and they look great with the VG and with out the wing.

That's why i got the smiley right? im a previous lancer oz owner so don't get me wrong here i just don't like the idea of putting a VG on a bonestock lancer unless you are going 130++mph or so.
