The greatest car ever? The Lancer? The Lancer is a nice car, I wouldn't have one if it wasn't, but I could hardly call it the greatest car ever.

It's a very similar design Alchemist or someone else was using. Not exactly the same but it supposedly dropped the intake air temperature by 30 degrees or so...ok I really don't remember the exact numbers.

oh so you're the guy who had that wierd intake setup over the exhaust manifold... well good thing you fixed that. The hood looks okay, but the hood? it's so 80's! that's the type of thing they used to run on old school cars.
What's with the bar configuration on the front? Is it Aluminum? if not, Extra weight like that is no good. Looks like you wanna plow your way through some obstacle course on the road...

yup... a couple people have that setup... it really does cool the air that goes up the filter...
and it does get dirt up on the filter but who cares you can clean it anyways...
so the point is... colder air...

Yes it's one inch square aluminum piping but the attachments are angle iron and the bottom bar is reinforced it was a huge pain to weld.and thanks

Name a car in the same class that's better than the lancer, hell I can name at least three. The mazda 3 is superior in everyway but weight, it has more power, a nicer interior, arguably a nicer exterior and it comes with far more options. The nissan sentra has more power (I believe), same with the new honda civic. There's also the cobalt which is a hell of a competitor and has been proven both from the factory and aftermarket to have an engine that can run upto 600 hp without any bottom end modifications. While I like my lancer, it's also getting old compared to its competitors and definitely needs to be changed or enhanced if it wants to stay a float..
