you are so biased towards your car, it makes me laugh. its alright though, i was just like you when i first got my lancer almost, what, like 4 years ago now (sheesh, im old!) minus the wings and scoops and bumper guards. you have to realize that our car is good in its class, but it was never the best at anything. we have average economy cars and thats all they really are. as far as you stating that nothing can beat mitsu, thats like saying your mom isnt a s1ut. its just NOT true!!!!

it was a joke, sorry!

Wow, this thread didn't get off topic at all...

As for the hood, I think if he molded the scoop and vents (not a big fan of the vents either way) to the hood to make a smooth transition, it'd make it much better looking. As for the bumper guard, I'm thinkin you should leave it off unless you're racing cause that's just plain ugly.

I say "best" with many things in mind I'm comparing it to other cars I can afford but I don't think I would buy an Evo before any other car even if I had all the money in the world ............. I would ALSO buy a vanquish though.

Chevy makes great cars, the engine in the cobalt is good for 700 hp with no changes to the bottom. Try to hit that in a lancer, hell even in an evo, and you'll be up for one hell of a fight. Chevy even provides instructions and support on making over 1000 hp on the ecotec engine, mitsubishi is known to void warranties if the intake is changed. Nissan makes great cars as well, the new Altima (SE-R?) is fast, and reliable. Honda and Toyota can charge what they charge because they've earned the right to, civics are still used in racing today, and are very competitive. Toyota regularly topped the industry in terms of reliability, something mitsubishi won't achieve for quite a while.
I need to reiterate, I have nothing against mitsubishi, I love my car, but I'm not afraid to admit that there is better out there. Mitsubishi isn't god, if it was it wouldn't be having stock problems.

^^^ I 2nd that 100%

Dude, I admire your effort.
Those vents are too far back tho, their useless. Even farther forward their useless cus theres no opening in them anyway... so their not really "vents" even.
For future ref... Get pictures of the items, got to the Photoshop forum on here, and ask someone to kindly do a chop for you.
That way you can see how bad your idea will appear, before you make reality
Its all good dude, dont sweat it. We all make mistakes honestly.

Look heres one of mine...

Wondering the same thing, either the tube is useless (since it appears to be feeding a closed side of the intake) or the filter is basically useless.

thats just my opinion though.

YES!!!
I agree 100000000%

Thats one thing I love about my Lancer, is its Rally-esk body styling.
It still looks like a Car rather than a UFO!

Their doing that with the Evo X too... Dont get me wrong I like the concept for the Evo X, but I dont see why their sooo....??? Eclipse-ish!
Let it look like a Car!
