I just got a used FMIC and it's a bit beat up... But all in all it seems it'll get the job done.
For the meantime, Can I paint it so it looks like new? To give it that nice polish look they usually have on other cars. if so, what kind of paint?
thanks!

You can paint intercoolers with really anything that can withstand a little heat. The intercooler will get hot to the touch on the inlet side during hard boosting in the warmer months. I'm only boosting around 5-6psi and i cant touch the intercooler Input after a hard run, the output is cool as ice though
Just pick up some silver high temp paint from any autoparts store and spray away
just make sure you cover up the in and outs so you dont get it inside

use radiator/intercooler paint. normal paint can reduce the cooling efficiency of the intercooler by trapping the heat inside, isulating it, instead of letting it radiate the heat to cool like it normally should.
