evo VII spoiler installed!
thanks. i didn't want to post final shots until i was satisfied with the finish on the center piece. i got the side pieces right a few days ago, but i only finished the thing this monday.
it definitely gets some looks on the road. i like it. i ordered a universal third brake light kit that i will assemble and rig up inside the cabin so that i pass inspection next year. apparently the MA guys are really nuts about that third brake light. we had a lady come to work asking us to fix hers in her car today when she failed her inspection because of it.

I like it. Now, in a couple months, the little guy inside you're head is going to start telling you that the wing looks bad, try something else, etc.. just dont listen to him. Ive changed my spoiler like 5 times which was stupid. The vii wing looks good, stick with it and move on to something else. Whats next?
i was thinking kamikaze headers with the downpipe... it would go good with my 2.5" pipes that i've already got. this won't be for awhile though, i need to save some cash. i also want to get the timing belt checked out since i am not sure if it's ever been done and i've got close to 103k on the car.
the home depot plumbing department.
i got a little sink repair kit with two grommets in it. they were originally hollow but i filled it with bondo, sanded it down, painted it, and then clearcoated it. it fit perfectly inside the hole left behind and i secured it from the inside of the trunk with some silicone. the silicone not only keeps it in place it's (of course) also good to keep water out of the trunk.
