Trunk is cool but now you actually have the wing on there it looks pretty bad. On another car it would work but the lancer just isn't aggressive enough and at the moment you certainly don't have the power or the need for it. Your logic is correct that downforce can be useful on a FWD car for stability reasons, but IMO the execution was wrong.

 

I like it, but now you need to make the rest of the car look more agressive to match the wing.

I love the look of the wing... but I agree. Not enough stuff under the hood for it to be needed. But it does look cool!

Sorry for the negative, but I really like how it started ( You don't see a ton of well done Lancers) but IMNSHO you have strayed from the light with the wing, etc.

 

I actually like the look of that wing but not on your lancer. I agree with what has been said. To sport a wing like that the car needs to look very aggressive front to back. and hopefully have power as well. I guess the same could be said for the evo wing but a big GT style wing like that, it stands out even more.

RPM's car could pull it off because he had very aggressive styling I think. I liked it on his car a lot. Either way. The trunk and wing look like very quality parts.

Exactly, aggressive cars can pull off an aggressive wing, daily drivers cannot. Brian's car has a wing but he also has an extremely powerful car so for all our disagreements over the wing he can still say "my car has a lot of power and I race it thus I make use of the thing".
