i know that the vortex generator wont help me go any faster or anything like that or reduce the wind of whatever because i dont have an evo wing.. BUT i like the look of it and want to put one on my black 04 oz.. not to look like an evo.

i was wondering if anyone has pics of one on their cars?? or what they think of having one on?? and if the FAKE CF one would look anygood or should i just go with the black one if i got one..

Go with black. there was just a sale. what $90 shipped. hope your jumping on that. factory painted. get it. it will look great. search registry. not many lancer guys have them.. look at most evos to see what it will look like. haha

 

i fell the same i like the look and shark fin style i bought one for 50 and had it painted for 50 apex silver to match i also have the wing i was going to get the carbon one for 170 but i am glad i went with the color match it looks so much better and fits the look ,,i have a carbon hood and it would have looked ok but not as good as it painted but use 2 people for install GL

 

i love the look of them, unfortunatly i got in a bad accident in my car, but i did take the VG off the car and was gonna put it on my sisters 05 es lol but if you want it ill sell it to you for 50$. its like brand new and its the standard black color, almost looks dark grey. let me know if you wanna work something out

 

socales you sell that VG to me for 50? .. the standard black color does it scratch easily? will i have to get it painted?

I kinda like the style but i dunno if it would look good in an 02-03, but they look pretty nice in 04's.

 

I personally would like to get one and paint it to match my color :P

 

Here's a pic of mine. I left it black because it contrasts the orange and matches the car's black trim. I've actually seen some fake CF that looks really close to real cf, but I'd still go with black since fake cf usually fades and gets ugly after a while.

unless you have other carbonfiber parts i think it would look kind of out of place. so yea go with the black. i have one on my yellow 03 and it looks good with the black trim and my black rims. i usaly say no to ebay knock offs, but i got mine on there for $60 shipped and it fit great!

 

should i get the Rexpeeds 89$ ones?? but those are painted to match the EVOs so it wont be a PERFECT match but he said very close and barely noticable.. or should i get the 50$ one from SocalEs and leave it ABS plastic or have it painted ...!
