Yep... been waiting to get to the garage. It's difficult when someone else holds the key, etc... Anyways, the spoiler is installed on the trunk, HID kit is ready to go in, Vortex Generator is also awaiting install. As well, today I received my black housing tail lights. The plan is to install all this when we get to the garage which should be tonight. So, yeah... it'll be worth it when I get a post up tonight since pretty much all my mods will be on. As for the sway bar, I haven't gotten to do the bolts. I've decided to leave the sway bar until the spring when I can get to a mechanic to do it properly. Moral of the story... I should hopefully have some semi-final pics up tonight!!!

OK FOLKS!!! Yeah, I'm super happy right now... the night went awesome. There's not much to say, except Let's Get To It!!
As said before, the spoiler was done and picked up as of today. Here's the trunk awaiting install:

And here it is installed:

Then came the Rexpeed Vortex Generator. Install was as is described in Cadi's how-to, as well as in Rex's thread. The one thing about this install which was either not encountered, or not noted was how when you are loosening the weather stripping from the rear window how easy it is to break the clips. I'd say I snapped about 4 all told.. they were quite a heart sinker to see/hear snap. Luckily enough, the weather stripping still had enough clips left in place so it was able to snap down well enough.
Here is the VG with the 3M double-sided tape applied:

And the finished product:

Next came the tail lights. Pretty straight-forward process, as the new tail lights had the correct sized openings for the stock bulbs and harness. It was a basic plug and play install. As well, in the third picture with the stock light removed, you can see where I have some Dynamat placed on both sides in order to rid the rear of tail-light rattles with the subs. It works quite well.

And the final mod of the night were the HIDs. With his wiring genius, Frank hooked up the high-beam bulb on the harnesses and we then installed them.

Here are the lights before the install. The bulbs I had in there were Sylvania Silverstars:

Here are the HIDs installed. The only thing semi-off is that I ordered the ice-blue 8000K HID kit, and all markings on the kit indicated the same. Once installed however, although the pictures look blue, they actually shine purple, which would be like a 10,000K kit? Well, either way they look great and I'm quite pleased. The purple looks a lot better than I thought it would anyhow

There you have it... the car is pretty much finished as far as mods go this winter I think. All I have left to do is get the car out to a mechanic for the sway bar to get installed due to the drilling/tapping of the bolts that is needed. As well, I have a basic red HVAC control lighting kit coming from Lightrikz.
Hope you've all enjoyed this thread so far. Updates will continue, but the frequency of them will likely go down. I still have to get the car washed/waxed and get some final shots of her... so you can look forward to those in the future. As for now, feel free to ask any questions about any of the installs I've done and post any opinions/suggestions you have.
Thanks for following my progress through all this, it's been quite an adventure.

this just gets better and better. I was waiting to see if that spoiler would look good and it does. everything looks right on it. Sweet lancer, wish i could get mine to that point. those HID's are really bright, dont know how the cops are going to like them lol. seems like you are running out of things to do to it! All in all this is definitely one of my favorite lancers. Keep up the good work.
Everything looks great, although I'm not feeling the tail lights. The spoiler looks almost perfect and at first glance I felt the VG felt a little odd but looks better at second glance? The car has really come a long way and I can't wait for next years mods
Perhaps a turbo? Lets see some pics with sunshine !

Yep, I have a few "left-overs" that I'm selling:
-Stock Black '03 OZ Spoiler $150 USD + shipping
-Stock Tail Lights $75 USD + shipping
-Stock OZ Rally Suspension Springs $100 USD + shipping
-Stock Clutch and Brake Lines $20 USD + shipping
-(Maybe) Stock OZ Rally Rims with pretty much brand new 195/65/R15 Predator All-Season tires $400 USD + shipping
Prices aren't set in stone, but should be assumed as being pretty firm. I can get pics of anything above that you are interested in if they haven't already been covered in this thread at some point. I know for instance that I haven't taken any close pictures of the stock rims... I'm not really sure if I'm going to sell those anyhow. Keeping them for motorcross/drag strip is the likely plan. I gotta test out my new suspension mods somehow right?
