Front End bra/mask

What are your opinions of a product like this on a white 02 lancer, I think I can get it at the dealership hopefully for less than $100

or here http://www.autoanything.com/car-bras/60A1003A0A0.aspx (free shipping is always nice)

the reason i want this is because my front end looks really plain and has some small paint chips i don't like

I think the full ones look like crap.... I have the peice from mitsu that just goes on the hood. I think it kinda needs the stock grill to work but mabey not. I used to run it on the hood when I first got the car and liked the look. dont have any pics though. I would be willing to sell.

Thanks but I'd like the entire front covered; I want to maintain the black on white look, anymore thoughts?

I personally dont like them and if you want full front protection you could allways get a 3M clear bra. But if you like the look of a bra, go for it.

^^^ can you be any more blunt? jeez

but yaee ive never really liked them. plus ive heard stories of people having them on their cars for so long, when they took it off,
the paint was worn off
or the rest of the car was faded more than their front bumper...
which would suck.

but yae. they dont look horrible.
just up to what you like!

Does anyone make a clear one?
I've never looked for one, I know there are "clear bras" that stick to the car for the G35, I just don't know i've seen one for the Lancer

haha. yeah. 3m makes a clear bra. it fits any car because it is just a material that is usually applied by a professional.

The issue with bras is water is not supposed to get underneath it. It soaks and just sits on the paint. the paint can discolor and as was said. Not fade with the rest of the car. It kind of defeats the purpose I think because they arnt supposed to get wet... so winter is out for sure when you would really want one. I actually put the hood bra on and took it off about three times when i was going to rain before I realized it was lame. lol

http://www.magnetbra.com/Lancer.html

It's for 2004-2007 models... and since you have your ride listed as "white ninja lancer" I don't really know what you have. Either way, that company makes them. It's basically a big sheet magnet which sticks to your car... no metal clips or anything, just slides into place. Very easy to remove and reapply when necessary, also looks good. Upon first application, you may need to use a hairdryer to smooth it out.

EDIT: It's only now that I just noticed you said "fit an 02"... so, I guess that magnetbra isn't much help to you. Oh well, maybe the 04-07 group can make use of it.
