I know it's still pretty stock overall but except for the grill IMO, the 02-03 lancers are one of my favorite looking stock cars ever. I won't be changing much from where it is now. I did plan on blacking out the reflectors though. Probably today. Then I'll get the emblem for the grill and Tein Coilovers to get a nice aggressive drop and that'll be it for me. Aesthetically that is.

 

i am SHOCKED at how clean that car is under the hood and underneath. you should see how nasty my car looks having lived in new england all its life.

TEIN coilovers are where it's at. the only regret i have about buying mine is that it took me so long to do so. if/when i get a new car the suspension will be the FIRST thing i tackle.

 

Besides Tein coilovers, there is KSport and Megan. As far as I know, the Megan coilovers are the only ones that come with the upper mounts for the front and the rear. Tein does not come with the upper strut mount for the front and KSport doesn't come with the upper mount for the rear. Stay away from NEX coilovers. Also the Megan and KSports come with upper pillowball mounts in the front.

 

Haha thanks. I was pretty shocked too when they popped the hood at the used car dealer. I'm trying to keep it up.

my friend just picked up a set of megans actually... he switched to them from JICs... that alone says something about the megans!
