My new Injen CAI

First time im posting my ride here, just got in my injen CAI and Greddy knob, just one question, i was so eager to try out the CAI that i forgot to take out the plastic piece blocking the left vent to it, what would be the easiest/quickest way to take it out without having to go take everything off again?

Thanks for looking!

Are you talking about the part of the bumper thats in front of the filter? I would leave that on there unless you want dirt and bugs on the filter. Easiest way to get it off is to crawl under the car.

Yea I left mine on there. Keeps it from getting too wet or dirty and it still gets plenty of air

thanks everyone, yeah i forgot to post a pic so here it is... but as for dmoney1988, i will probably do 20 percent tint on the rear and then a magnaflow or greddy evo2 a little later, im just getting into modding so my parents dont even know i have this here is the piece though, it looks like a splash guard thats behind a plastic "grill", i was wondering if i should take it out for more airflow, or leave it in for protection.

if you remove it, there's gonna be too much air to suck up. you'll also overwhelm your filter with dirt, water, bugs and all them good stuff. don't worry and leave it on, you WANT the scavenging effect but without the neccesary exhaust mods, your motor won't get the best of the air coming in so taking off the guard would actually make it harder for the motor to breath at high speeds. kinda long but....yeah, you get the point.
