As the title says, here is a gratuitous picture of my '99 Boxster and my '08 Lancer. I spent Labor Day weekend detailing the Boxster, and I just washed the Lancer yesterday. I figured I would show them off.

Yeah, I'd love an Evo too. I guess I'm just also one of those people that thinks owning a Porsche is badass.

And even a Boxster has gotta be damn fun to drive, if you ask me. Mid-engine RWD convertible FTW.

 

At the time I purchased the Boxster (Feb 2004, I paid $29K, and the car had 17K miles) I thought about Subaru WRX and Mitsu Evo as alternatives. However, neither was available as a convertible!

IMO, porshes and all those other overpriced exotics are over-rated. But then again, thats just my opinion. But if u only payed $29K, then its not that overpriced.
