Anyone use this stuff?

http://www.5starshine.com/

If so, what do you think about it and how often do you really have to reapply it?

Thing that gets me is.......I am actually a radar technician in the U.S. Navy, and they use it on the AEGIS radar systems. I have never talked to any of the AEGIS techs about it, but I do know how delicate those arays are.

BTW, I report to an AEGIS equipped cruiser in October, so I will be able to give you guys some real feedback instead of just my own opinion once I start using it.

$80 bucks isn't **** for 5 years of protection. I'll give it a try and let you guys know what I think. I spend more than $80 a year just in car detailing.

I would love to hear actual testimonials, not just ones online like that... too easy to fake, although the only way to really know is to get it yourself... but the price is rather high... if anyone buys/uses it by all means post here so we can all find out if it is worth it or not... I know that if it does what it says it does I would probably shell out the cash for it just so I dont have to wash my car so often... theres a lot of pollen this summer and it makes my car go from grey to yellowish grey... very fugly!

I think it is $80 for the bottle, but the bottle won't last you 5 years. Who knows. Even at $80 once a year, it will still save you all that time waxing and still give you a better protection (supposedly). You know what, I am just gonna email an AEGIS tech that I went to school and find out the skinny on this product.

I'll let you all know.

I don't think they're saying the bottle will last 5 years but rather the protection from coating your car once will last five years. And unless you are using the whole bottle for one application I assume that means the bottle will certainly last longer.
